Change of Status from September 2021
The staff and board of management of Francis Street School are delighted to announce our change of status from September 2021. From September 2021 we will be a co-educational school, welcoming our first ever class of junior infant boys & girls. We are continuing to take boys from 2nd to 6th class as normal.
We look forward to these exciting times and to sharing them with all of our wonderful families and the entire community of Dublin 8.

Chess
Playing the game of chess on a regular basis right from childhood improves the learning, thinking, analytical power, and decision-making abilities of the child. It is also really great fun. In our school every student is taught how to play chess in 2nd class by pupils from senior classes under the guidance of our chess teacher.
Breakfast and Afterschool Club
Our clubs are not currently running
Our Breakfast Club opens from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Our Homework Club opens from
2.45 p.m. to 4 .15 p.m.
