We have had a fantastic start to the year here in Francis Street. Well done to everyone in our school community, our pupils, the staff and our families for working together to ensure everyone is safe. There have been so many highlights so far.
Firstly, we were delighted to welcome 26 new boys into our 2nd class. Our 2nd class teacher Maureen is delighted with how well the boys have settled into life in Francis Street. Aileen, Rosaleen and Jordana have also welcomed some amazing new boys in our 2nd ASD class. We look forward to welcoming both boys and girls in junior infants next year as well as second class boys.
There have been many highlights so far this year including our new school zone, our sensory trail, National Fitness Day, Numeracy week, our Halloween Howl, Roald Dahl Day and the elections of all our school committees.
This Friday we are looking forward to celebrating World Kindness Day!!!
