Super Sixth Class!

Sixth class have returned after a fantastic summer and now assume the role of our new leaders in our school as they begin their final year in Francis Street School. We have hit the ground running and the boys are showing a brilliant attitude and effort in their final year at Franner and the preparation for secondary. As we prepare for secondary school we have already been fortunate enough to have a visit from Larkin College and we are looking forward to meeting the other schools over the coming week. This has begun our discussion around our transition to secondary school and what is expected of them which is an exciting prospect as we will continue to prepare the boys, from using lockers to following timetables. We have also got stuck straight into our new book clubs and writing workshops with great enthusiasm and it's sure to be an amazing year. Along with this we've taken summer selfies of our few months off, we're already playing music, beginning our projects on the upcoming Rugby World Cup and Gaelic Football season has begun. It's sure to be a busy but wonderful time for our new sixth class and we can't wait to see what they achieve. We also can't forget about the All Ireland Final coming up, Up The Dubs!
