On Friday our school, our neighbours, Green Schools Ireland and our local Gardaí came together to celebrate our new School Safety Zone and the end of our first full week back in school and the news2day cameras were there film it all. [watch here at 07:10]
Our Parents Association organised an icecream van full of 99s for all to mark the occasion, which went down an absolute treat. A very special thanks to Frank from Shooter's Icecream who provided the icecream on the day and refused payment, asking that a donation instead be made to St. John's Ward in Crumlin hospital, which the Parents Association will make on our behalf.
A special thanks too to Cormac and Claudine from Liberty Party Shop for supporting the school, as always, by providing the balloons and bunting.
